Artist Biography:
Bill Ackerbauer is a social worker, writer, teacher and musician from Johnstown, N.Y., a city of about 9,000 sturdy souls in the Adirondack foothills. Bill performed for years with Roland Vinyard as the old-timey duo The Bentwood Rockers, and now he performs both solo and with bands such as Junk Rocket, The Doghouse Carpenters and The Insolent Willies. He released "Discovery," an EP of original material, as his first solo album in February 2017.
