Artist Biography:
Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Anna Hutto has been performing since she was 15 years old. She has toured nationally as a singer/songwriter and retreat musician. Not only does she write her own music, but Anna has published several tunes for other artists. She holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Emory University, and sees her music as a channel for communicating the adventures of love, honesty, mercy, risk-taking, and passion -- all at the heart of authentic spirituality.

Rounder recording artist, Carrie Newcomer, has said that "Anna has the voice of an angel and soul of a poet...clear and strong and beautiful, her lyrics are so emotionally honest and open...unguarded and beautifully written, her music has a spiritual power and authenticity." Spoken word artist, Minton Sparks, stated "Anna's music, words, and the spirit behind them gather me up into a Gestalt of pure joy. I hear her closing the gap between long, long distances..."
