Artist Biography:
Sam Hurwitz is a 14 year old singer-songwriter from NY who plays guitar, piano and harmonica. As early as 2 years old, Sam was strumming a toy guitar and making up little songs. When Sam started guitar lessons at age 6, he began to put his songs together more formally and started performing his original songs live starting at age 8.

In 2012 at age 9, Sam was the youngest finalist by several years at a local talent search. Some highlight performances were The NY Singer Songwriter Sessions at the Bitter End in NYC and during a NY Knicks halftime show at Madison Square Garden. Sam was featured as an American Songwriter Magazine Daily Discovery and was an American Songwriting Awards Nominee for his song Without a Rhyme.

Sam is a natural storyteller at heart and in addition to writing songs, he has written several novellas and is also passionate about the art of filmmaking and film scoring.
