Artist Biography:
Sara Hillis is a celticly-inspired musician, currently making her home in Southern Ontario, Canada. She was born there, in Brantford Ontario, and grew up in that city, living there till the age of eighteen. Waterloo became her home during her time at Wilfrid Laurier University, where she took a degree in Honours' English Language and Literature and went on to complete her Masters in that subject in 2006. She has since returned to her roots, and is again living in Brantford while working on her first cd, The Laurel Tree, which is currently for sale online and which she recorded independently. Sara plays all the instruments on the album and was the composer and arranger of all the songs.
