Artist Biography:
David is a singer songwriter currently living in Halifax Nova Scotia. Born in St Peter's Cape Breton, he grew up with the Bras D'Or Lakes in his front window, and the Atlantic Ocean a five minute walk "Uptown". It took moving away to Toronto in the late 1970s before he realized how special his home was and it didn't take long for thoughts of home to turn to poetry and then to song. His most recent recording the Colours of Cape Breton celebrates this. He is currently working on the next, "At Home" which there are samples of on this page.

Has played bars, clubs, folk festivals and house concerts, is back to playing music full time again, after a few years working at a museum in Halifax.
