I caught a lot of the Fayetteville Roots Festival live via your stream, but being able to come back to your page to catch what I missed is priceless. Proud to be a Folk Alley member. Now when are you going to cover and stream the great Philadelphia Folk Festival? You have 348 days to plan for its 52nd fest in 2013. (Yes, we folk music people are passionate about our music --- and loyal!)

Thanks for the broadcast! Grew up and went to school in the Fayetteville area. Wish I was there this weekend. Listening in NYC for the moment, but it is Saturday night. Hope you'll be putting up some of the sets on the web site.

Listening from Manhattan Beach Ca. About to get in my car and use the Folk Alley app on my iphone while I go out to get my travel trailer ready for the Strawberry Music Festival near Yosemite next week. Thanks so much for Folk Alley and I'm proud to be a financial supporter.

Fayetteville Roots Festival 2012

The Fayetteville Roots Festival is a four-day urban music festival taking place August 23 - 26, 2012 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The festival showcases many of the elements that make Fayetteville a beloved cultural hot spot. The festival's slogan is "A Mountain Town in its Natural State."

The "roots" element of the festival is dedicated to showcasing a musicla style that is heavily supported, created, and somewhat originating in Fayetteville and the Ozarks as a whole.

This year's festival features performances by Darrell Scott, The Steel Wheels, John Fullbright, The Carper Family, Still on the Hill, 3 Penny Acre, Gregory Alan Isakov and more.
