Delhi 2 Dublinhad the Blissfest crowd on its feet - unable to keep from dancing to the band's genre-busting, mash-up sound.
Mountain Heart said they had been counting down the hours to their return to Blissfest. That enthusiasm showed in this wicked set that tour up the house.
Funny and upbeat with just a pinch of sass, the Good Lovelies’ textbook three-part harmonies, constant instrument swapping and witty on-stage banter have enlivened the folk music landscape since they joined forces in 2006.
Joel Mabus has split his career in folk music between the traditional and the original - the old and the new intertwine in his music, whether he is singing an old ballad with a new interpretive twist or writing a new song with a 21st century perspective.
Kim Churchill has been living and breathing guitar for over a decade. When he plays you can hear the dedication and countless hours of rehearsal and you'll have an appreciation for his talent. When you find out he’s only 20, it puts him in an entirely other league.
