Folk Alley and NPR Music returned to Nashville to present a live webcast of the Americana Music Association’s 11th Annual Honors and Awards ceremony from historic Ryman Auditorium. The event featured live performances by this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipients - Bonnie Raitt, Booker T. Jones, and Richard Thompson - as well as many of the award nominees, including: Alabama Shakes, Carolina Chocolate Drops, The Civil Wars, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, The Punch Brothers, Deep Dark Woods and more.

Folk Alley returned to the Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island for the 53rd Newport Folk Festival, July 27-29th. Highlights included performances by Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Brown Bird, Alabama Shakes, Jackson Browne, Punch Brothers, Tallest Man On Earth, New Multitudes, the Guthrie Family Reunion, First Aid Kit, Patty Griffin, The Head and The Heart, Trampled By Turtles, and MANY MORE.
