If there's one thing I love, it's musicians who embrace Web 2.0 technology.  Roger McGuinn (of the Bryds, but also someone deeply embedded in Folk culture) is one of those people.  He has his own blog, he's on Twitter and he's really interesting.  Today, he posted about the history of the song "Skip to My Lou" and included an MP3 of him playing the song.  How great is that?  Check it out: http://www.ibiblio.org/jimmy/folkden/index.html/

Agreed!-- Roger Mcguinn is great all around-- really cool blog, fun and interesting! And great post about "Skip to My Lou," Thanks for sharing!  Thought I'd let everyone know about his show in September at The Abrons Arts Center in New York City (Lower East Side).  Its on Friday the 26th at 7:30 and it should be a FANTASTIC performance.. I'm going! anyone else?  Below is some more info I found... Hope to see you there!
